Hello!

DSCF3547

My name is Danielle and I’m from the beautiful island of Oahu! I’m terrible at bios so in true bullet form fashion, here are a few things about me:

I’ve been a serious photo enthusiast for 10 years

Editing a great photo is just as fun as hitting that shutter button!

I’m obsessed with international travel. If I can’t speak the language and it gets me a stamp in my passport, I’m in.

I’ve lived on an island for just about my entire life – Japan, Azores, and Hawaii – thanks Air Force

I have a record player that I love because why not

Coffee first, then the world

If i could only eat sushi for the rest of my life I would be more than okay with that

Instagram is my favorite social media platform. I don’t “snapchatty” and do the “tweeter”

I’m as casual and laid back as it gets….shoot me a message, I’d love to get to know you!

    Hi Dani
You are an amazing photographer and I am really in love with your work!
I understand that your last purchase was the Fujifilm X-E2. Since I follow you on Youtube, I understand you have extra cameras like the Nikon D7000, the Fuji X100s, the Nikon V1 and the GoPro.
I also love photography and would like to purchase the Fuji X-E2, but since it is a new camera I am not so sure about it. Is it really that good?
If you don’t mind, what do you recommend between these mirrorless cameras I have in mind: Fujifilm X-E2, Fujifilm X100s, Olympus OM-D E-M1 or the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX7. Could you lend me a hand? I would greatly appreciate if you kindly give me a feedback on this matter.
    Thanks a lot.
    Patty

      Hi Patty,
thanks for commenting and subscribing to my channel!
It’s really hard to recommend a camera when i’m not too sure what your shooting style is. I have heard nothing but great things about the EM-1 as well as the Lumix. The Fujifilm x100s is just one of those all time favorite cameras for me. The xe-2 is just a little more practical because of the better auto focus and the lens selection i have. It is a beautiful camera to shoot with but i think the other options compete right on par. I’m honestly shooting more with the nikon v1 than any other camera because i just love it so much!
hope that helps a little bit,
      Danielle

        Hi again Dani

THANK YOU so much for your quick response! Much appreciated!
I am thinking of buying the Fuji X-E2. It’s a pretty quick camera (fast auto focus) and it has the option of interchangeable lenses. I hope not to be disappointed with it.
Thanks a lot for your help and thanks for sharing your great talent and photos with us.
        Cheers
        Patty

Hi I just read your article on Steve Huff, and we are on the same page. Six months ago I taveled Europe with just Fuji film, and then picked up an XT1. Saw that your in Japan, just got back to Guam from there. Recommend hitting Map Camera in Tokyo for great lense deals! I was at Mt Fuji Friday and Saturday and it had no snow, passing by Monday on the Bullet train it had a snow top! Should make for some good shots soon!

    Enjoy Japan
